  • A Report Card on Solomon: How does Solomon measure up?
    • Solomon gave wise judgments
    • Solomon received gifts from many foreign leaders
    • Solomon's glory did expand farther than other Israelite kings
    • Solomon was wealthy
    • BUT Solomon broke faith with the God of Israel; he began to worship other gods for the sake of his wives and his relationships with other nations
  • Will there be another, better king than Solomon? YES!
    1. Jesus will rule with justice and righteousness.
    2. Jesus will rule for the good of His people.
    3. Jesus will subject all other earthly authorities to Himself.
    4. Jesus will rule for the glory of God.
  • How can we get ready for Jesus' rule and reign?
    1. Pray for your children.
    2. Pray for your country's leaders.
    3. Pray for the nations of the world.
    4. Pray for Jesus' return.
    5. Surrender your life to Jesus.
